Day 01
Arrive at Uttarkashi (Altitude: 1,158 m)
Arrive at the resort and check in. Later, briefing will be given by our head mountaineering instructor. Dinner and overnight stay in the resort.

Day 02
Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Bhojbasa (Drive: 90 kms; Trek: 14 kms; Altitude: 3,658 m)
Early in the morning, drive 90 km to Gangotri (3,048 m). Gangotri is the place where the Goddess Ganga descended on earth from heaven. It is also the road head for trekking in Gangotri valley. From here, start your 14 km trek to Bhojbasa (3,658 m) following the river Bhagirathi on right bank. The trek is gradual ascent for most of the part. From Bhojbasa, you can have majestic views of the Bhagirathi group of peaks. On arrival, set up camp for overnight stay.

Day 03
Bhojbasa - Gaumukh - Tapovan - Bhojbasa (Trek: 9 kms (one side); Time: 9 hours; Altitude: 4,328 m)
Trek to Tapovan (4,400 m) via Gaumukh, the source of the river Ganga. From Gaumukh, climb over to Gangotri glacier and cross it from the right to left bank before climbing over to lateral moraine to reach Tapovan. Tapovan is a large high-altitude meadow and base camp for climbing Mt Shivling and Mt Meru. Later return to Bhojbasa. Overnight stay in tented camp.

Day 04
Bhojbasa-Gangotri-Uttarkashi (Trek: 14 kms; Drive: 90 kms)
Return trek to Gangotri via Chirbasa. It is a beautiful place surrounded by chir (pine) forest. On arrival, drive 90 kms to Uttarkashi and check into resort for overnight stay.

Day 05
Uttarkashi Departure
After breakfast, check out from resort and drive to your onwards journey.
